what is Xavier? Aptitude Test is an all-India test conducted by Xavier Association of Management Institutes (XAMI) as an entrance exam for the admission to the Post-graduate Programs in management courses of several management institutes all over India. XLRI on behalf of Xavier Association Management Institutes (XAMI) has notified the XAT test for the admission to their MBA programs. Read all about the eligibility criteria here.
what is Eligibility for Xavier?
A candidate must be a graduate from a recognized university or a deemed university.
Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree and are awaiting results can also apply.
Test Duration & Pattern XAT :
Decision Making - 25 questions
English Language Ability and Logical Reasoning - 32 questions
Quantitative Ability - 28 questions
Essay
Note the timing of test :
Decision Making, English Language Ability and Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Ability will compplte on the time of 120 mins.
Essay will complte the time of 30 mins.
Format of XAT - The exam will be of 3 hours :-
Divided into 2 parts of the examination:
Part A (Quantitative Ability, English Language Ability & Logical Reasoning and Decision Making ) will be allotted a duration of 2:20 hrs.
Part B ( Essay writing and General Awareness) will be a duration of 40 minutes.
