LAW COMMON ENTRANCE Test (lawcet-2012) for admission into 3-years and 5-years LLB/B.L courses and Poat Graduate Law Common Entrance Test (PGLCET_2012) for admission into LL.M. course offfered by State Universities in Andhra Pradesh including their Affiliated colleges for the Academic Year 2012-13 will be conducted by Sri Venkateswara University,Tirupati
Applications are invited for appearing Law Common Entrance Test (LAWCET - 2011) and Post Graduate Law Common Entrance Test (PGLCET - 2011) for admission into 3 & 5 year LL.B / B.L course and LL.M program mes for the academic year 2011 - 12.
Eligibility for 3 - year LL.B / B.L Candidates should have appeared or passed any Graduation (10+2+3 pattern) of a recognized University with 45% of aggregate marks or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the Universities concerned
Eligibility for 5 - year LL.B / B.L Candidates should have appeared or passed 2 - year Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with 45% of aggregate marks for any other examination recognized as equivalent by the University concerned or the Board of Intermediate Education, A.P..
a) There is a relaxation of 5% of marks in the above qualifying examinations for 3 year / 5 year Law course in favour of the Candidates belonging to SCs / STs.
b) The applicants who have obtained 10+2 or graduation / post graduation through open Universities system directly without having any basic qualification for prosecuting such studies are not eligible for admission into the law courses.
As Per Age
a) 5 - year Law Degree - Maximum age is twenty years in case of general category and twenty two years in case of SCs & STs.
b) 3 - year Law Degree - Maximum age is thirty years in case of general category and thirty five years in case of SCs & STs.
3 LL.M Candidate holding LL.B. / B.L. Degree and candidates who have appeared/appearing for LL.B / B.L., final year examination. Age limit is not prescribed for admission into LL.M course.

Application Form for the Entrance Test and Instruction Booklet can be had from the Convener, LAWCET - 2011, Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati-517 502. by sending a Crossed Demand Draft as detailed below from any Nationalized Bank drawn in favour of The Secretary, APSCHE, Hyderabad, payable at Hyderabad along with a requisition letter giving full address and specifically mentioning whether it is for 5 year / 3 year LAWCET - 2012 or PGLCET - 2012.

PGLCET - 2012 Rs.525/- (which includes cost of application, registration and test fee etc: Rs.500/- + postage etc) Rs.
